We're seeking a highly experienced and dependable Tax Preparer who's passionate about accuracy, client service, and mentoring others. Pay: $28-$40/hour (Depending on expereince.) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM What You'll Do: Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses Review returns prepared by team members to ensure compliance and accuracy Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities Ensure all client documentation is complete and accurate E-file returns and handle any necessary follow-up Provide clear, professional communication to clients Collaborate with CPAs and admin staff for smooth workflow Mentor junior staff and assist with training Suggest improvements for internal processes and client experience Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards What We're Looking For: 3+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience Proficiency with 1040, 1120, and 1065 returns Prior experience reviewing and verifying others' tax work Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws and filing practices Skilled with Drake Tax Software or similar platforms Active PTIN and CTEC registration (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and organizational skills Willingness to teach and lead junior team members Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with tax resolution and back tax filings Desire to grow into a supervisory or leadership role Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
