**Responsibilities** In keeping with the CommonSpirit Health core values the Surgical Technologist I is to function as a team member during the preoperative intra-operative and postoperative phases of the surgical procedure. #Hellosurgicaltechs **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Requirements for a Surgical Technologist I are the following: a) Recent graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist training school or Surgical Technologist training program in the OR; b) Completion of a clinical internship rotation as part of a technologist training program; c) Above average performance rating upon completion of a clinical internship rotation; and d) Completion of Surgical Technologist certification within six (6) months of graduation from Surgical Technologist training school or Surgical Technologist training program. + Completion of a Surgical Technologist Training course. + Surgical Technologist certification required + BLS certification required. **Overview** French Hospital Medical Center located in San Luis Obispo California has been named one of the Nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics and is rated among the top hospitals in the nation for cardiac orthopedic and GI services.
