This 127-bed, Level III Trauma Hospital offers comprehensive oncology services, including:
Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and medical oncology
Cancer support services and clinical trials
A newly designed 19-chair infusion room
In-house pharmacy, nurse navigation, and radiation oncology
Onsite lab services
A highly skilled, collegial, and dedicated nurse infusion team
Full-time position with four ten-hour shifts (No nights or weekends)
Paid call shared equally
Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults
Work alongside 1 NP and 2 Oncologists in a collaborative setting
Serve as an integral part of the patient care team, performing tasks and procedures aligned with advanced practice licensure
Active & clear license in [State]
Active DEA certification
Board Certified (AOCNP)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in oncology (No new graduates)
Proficiency in EPIC and other clinical software
Strong clinical acumen, interpersonal skills, and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with referring physicians
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing job requirements
Organizational and time management skills
Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality, evidence-based patient care
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stretching
Quick reaction time to unexpected patient care needs
Adequate hearing, vision (including color), and fine motor skills
Ability to assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Compliance with standard precautions due to exposure risks
Effective communication in-person, via phone, and written formats
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency in the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
