Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing client's team in Independence, MO. They will specifically working on the design engineering work for locomotive signaling devices. This individual will support engineering design and development using 3D modeling tools, assist with implementing design changes, and create technical documentation. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve product issues, conduct testing, and ensure timely release of parts for production. Lastly, they will maintain up-to-date engineering specifications, support cost and product improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This team is responsible for devices that prevent train derailments.
