Job Description

Job Summary: The In-Home Caregiver at Village Caregiving in Bowling Green, Kentucky is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position that provides compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes in Tompkinsville, Ky. As an individual contributor, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients and their families by assisting with daily tasks and providing emotional support. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation for this position is based on an hourly rate and will be discussed during the interview process. • Provide support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure medication is taken as prescribed
• Help clients with mobility and light exercises as needed
• Create a safe and comfortable environment for clients
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's physical or mental health
• Communicate regularly with the client's family and medical team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Attend trainings and workshops to improve caregiving skills

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting
• Ability to provide physical and emotional support to clients
• Knowledge of basic healthcare procedures and safety precautions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
