OverviewDental ReceptionistDental Implant and Perio Partners We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice. Schedule: Full Time, M,W 7:30am-5:00pm T,Th 7:30am-4:00pm Fri 7:30am-12:00pm ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the New Patient Coordinator are not limited to the following: Ultimately, the duties involve helping any office member in making the office run more efficiently. 1st on the phone and handling all phone requestsScheduling new patients, patients of record, and entering their information in the computerConfirming appointments(post-op's consults, & new patients)Verify insurance coverage and obtain insurance breakdown for all new patients and returning patients prior to their scheduled appointmentContacting referral source regarding x-rays needed and insurance informationFiling charts throughout the day & before leaving at the end of every dayAssembling charts for clinical staffKeeping the reception area, business office and bathrooms clean and stockedMaking accurate notes of conversations with any patient in their chart.Scan all doctor & hygiene letters into patients document center and email to referral sourceTaking accurate notes of conversations with patients about their treatment & obtaining needed consent formsAct as back-up treatment coordinator when neededGreat patients, "orange" patient in Dentrix, & put in AmtelPrint schedule for next day & make accurate notes during huddle Make sure needed x-rays for upcoming new patients have been imported. If x-rays have been requested but we do not have them call their referring doctor to request againTake mail to mailbox daily and check mail, opening all mailScanning in all treatment pre-treatment estimates and EOB'sPosting insurance paymentsChecking in patients and collecting treatment fee's prior to being taken back.
